To incentivise homeowners and to apply for the scheme the Government has removed the requirement for the homeowners EPC to have no recommendation for Loft or Cavity Wall insulation. This is anticipated to remove the financial obstacle of up to £2500 that some homeowners have been facing to meet the EPC requirement.
